It is with great pride and deep gratitude that Makom Solel Lakeside honors Rabbi Evan Moffic for his 15 years of service to our community. Shabbat worship will include beautiful music, words of appreciation from Rabbi Moffic’s colleagues, and a gift of handcrafted art that will grace our bimah. A special oneg and congratulatory champagne toast tops off this memorable evening. Come share expressions of esteem for Rabbi Moffic to help fortify our Congregation’s legacy and pave its promising future.

A Night at Makom celebrates the amazing 5 years since legacy Solel and Lakeside Congregations united to create our new Makom. This spectacular evening offers an array of delicious food and drinks, live bands, dancing, a special tribute to our Honorable "Menschens", Susan and Larry Mason, and more. Featuring:
*Our emcee for the evening, Rick Segall, leading the celebration of Rabbi Moffic, the Masons, and the entire Makom community.
*Popular music played by string quartet “New Vintage Strings”, during the cocktail hour.
*Dance music from “Louie in the Middle,” a band filled with locals, including some of our own from Makom.
*A Night At Makom is a stellar event filled with the joy of a caring and fun-loving community.

Rise Against Hunger leads to resilience and self-sufficiency for food-insecure people around the globe. Ending hunger starts with a meal and it depends on us! Our world is rapidly changing, but one thing remains constant. Our Makom family needs everyone’s help to do Tikkun Olam – repair the world – by alleviating hunger for families everywhere. Many hands easily get the job done!
