HOLIDAYS

We encourage the celebration of holidays and holy days at home and in the synagogue, creating services and programming for families and adults.

Shake a lulav at Pizza in the Hut for Sukkot, unroll a Torah from beginning to end on Simchat Torah, bring your Chanukkiah to our Shabbat in Chanukah, celebrate trees and nature at T’u Bishevat, Purim carnival for kids, and Purim Spiel for adults (with adult beverages), celebrate women’s seder or chocolate seder at Passover, and confirmation and high school graduation at Shavuot. We mark Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial Day and yizkor and have a memorial service four times a year.

Join us to commemorate every holiday including Martin Luther King Day in many ways and for every age. Take home a hamentaschen kit or learn how to bake challah for shabbat, or chocolate babka just for fun. It’s all part of participating in the Jewish year together.
