Rosh Hashanah Round Challah Braiding Workshop - Take & Bake

Together with Anya Viner from Tigertail Bakery - Uncommon Challah we will learn how to make round braided challahs - and small decorative pomogranate-shaped challahs. Then take and bake them at home.

Tuesday, September 9
7:00pm - 8:30pm.

$18 per Makom Member; $24 Non-members

Makom Kids 10 years & older are invited to join us with accompanied, registered, adult to braid together.
Option to register kids 10+years old if you they would like to do their own challah take & bake.

Registration closes Thursday, September 4;

Registration Includes:
1 challah dough ball for round challah braid, take & bake
1 challah dough ball for small decorative pomogranate-shaped challah, braid, take & bake.
1 chalah dough ball to take home and freeze so you can recreate your challah for Rosh Hashanah!

Option to purchase additional challah dough balls, for $5, to take home for future baking.

Pre-made challah dough and ingredients will be provided for you. *Gluten free challah dough is NOT available. Although challah dough is included, please bring 2 baking sheets per registered participant as those will not be provided at the event.
